Wedding planner, frequent traveler and firm believer that getting married should be the fun part.

​

I’ve been planning weddings for more than 15 years, but the idea for Joyful Elopements really started with my own. When it came time to plan my wedding, the last thing I wanted was a big production. My husband and I wanted something simple, meaningful and fun, so we skipped the traditional wedding and eloped.

​

That experience changed the way I looked at weddings. I realized that getting married could be incredibly special without a huge guest list, months of planning or a hundred little details to manage.

So I created Joyful Elopements to make that kind of wedding easier for other couples too.

 

From Texas to Mexico

 

After years of planning weddings and elopements in the Texas Hill Country, life eventually brought me to Mexico. Today, Joyful Elopements brings together two places I know and love, giving couples an easy way to get married somewhere worth traveling for.

Whether that means wine country in Fredericksburg, a tiny Texas town, a beach in Isla Mujeres or a private villa in Mexico, my job is the same: take care of the wedding details so you can enjoy the experience.

When I’m not planning weddings, there’s a good chance I’m cooking something, planning my next trip or hanging out with my husband and our cats. My happy place involves a beach in Mexico, a margarita and absolutely nowhere I need to be.
